Mountain Snow is an interview sketch zine. It uses photographs from the interviewee’s social media and text from a text conversation. David did not know he was “the interviewee” until after our chat. Sketch zines feel like a great way to get ideas out and published without putting pressure on them to be “successful.” They require minimal effort and there’s no obligation to create a flow in the content or a concise storyline. They’re just ideas… formatted. I like them so much, I think I’ll make a zine about making them. Hm.
