As we experience the loss of the physical world around us, we are calmed by the images that occupy our digital spaces. Why would we be alarmed? Our screensavers have become a placeholder for the nature. Why look at the forest OR the trees when we have supersaturated sunsets lighting up the majesty of an enchanted woodland?
These works are a collection of manipulated video stills. Each moment was extracted from the digital static of a broken monitor and enhanced to highlight the brilliance and subtleties of abstract colour behind our ordered screens. These are the colours without the content.
