Collective Arts Brewing is a “grassroots beer company fusing the craft of brewing with the inspired talents of emerging artists & musicians.” Their beer cans and beer bottles are sold in LCBOs across Canada.
My work was featured on bottles during their first series. Of the two images below, the JKPP piece with two girls drinking was initially selected. It was even used in their advertisements to other artists. However, that image never made it to production. Canada has a law prohibiting the depiction of people drinking in advertisement for alcohol.
Collective Arts Brewing then selected the second image, a man wearing headphones. This image was printed on beer bottle labels. I had been affectionately referring to the piece as my Hipster drawing, so I was somewhat amused with their selection.
